Kali Linux Dojo, BlackHat 2016 – Las Vegas
We really enjoyed doing Dojo at the Black Hat in the past few years. It was a great opportunity to show some of the lesser-known (but oh so useful) Kali Linux features, as well as to interact with the user base. But one of the disadvantages of the previous structure in that, while it was a practical exercise, many participants are moving with different speeds from each other. Thus, we would like to move to the model of "self-service", where visitors can have access to training materials and will be free to work at their own pace. We have reached a new model, we Premiering this year that allows everyone to take as much or as little time it takes to get a working installation, of Kali customized to their needs. While this is done, Kali developers will be on-site and interact with everyone on an ongoing basis.Hacking the playground with Kali Linux
This leads to the next major change in the structure as in previous years have often heard the question was, "Excellent! I have this beautiful Cali found that now I do with it?". This year, we have a great answer for this: Hack our systems! Our good friends at Offensive Security were kindly provide us with a number of systems that have been pre-configured with interesting and unique vulnerabilities. This environment will be setup in the room, and visitors can connect to it and put the Kali Linux use, hacking these systems to your heart. What's more, we will provide additional incentives for you to crack all things, handing out prizes to those that get the highest score.
